OUR SPECIALTIES: SIMULATION TRAINING

Hundreds of companies are using training skits as a vehicle to illustrate the purposes, benefits and importance of learning and implementing Lean Manufacturing tools. Like any “Continuous Improvement” tool, the objectives are to identify where “WASTE” resides and develop corrective measures to reduce or eliminate it without possibilities of reoccurrence.
Flow skit training
This 4 hour, hands on, interactive workshop helps employees learn the concepts and results of large lot, “push” manufacturing versus cellular, “Pull” manufacturing, kanban, visual factory, best practices, Takt, operation balance, performance measurements and more. This workshop contains a mixture of classroom and hands on work.
The flow skit training package teaches employees a simplified method of learning and implementing several Lean Manufacturing tools, and the benefits derived from those implementations. The improvements in the flow skit measurements are not necessarily those that you will recognize after implementing the same tools in your factories. However, the factory benefits, when done properly will outweigh the training costs many folds.
Building the same product, with the same people, the class will design management methods on how to run the factory against exact measurements. The first simulation is a typical batch & queue factory with little lean principles. The second simulation is a company with some lean tools in place. And the final simulation is a company that has leaned out the processes. All 3 competing companies are measured by the customer the same way. It becomes very clear to the participants as to why 1 company goes out of business, the second company struggles and the third company grows very quickly.
